Hong Kong has long been an established market for Domaine Bessa Valley, where our wines are well known and appreciated by discerning wine lovers. Our long-standing partner, Sens Wine Cellar, continues to present a selection of Bessa Valley wines, highlighting the distinctive combination of Bordeaux winemaking heritage and the character of Bulgaria’s Thracian terroir.
The presentation tells the story of Bessa Valley and its connection with Count Stephan von Neipperg, owner of renowned Saint-Émilion estates including Château Canon La Gaffelière and La Mondotte. It also draws attention to the international recognition Bessa Valley has received over the years from respected wine critics and competitions. Among the wines highlighted in Hong Kong is Enira Reserva 2019, awarded 91 points by James Suckling. Sens Wine Cellar also recalls the success of the 2017 vintage, which received a Grand Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles. Enira Reserva is presented as a mature and balanced Bordeaux-style blend, with notes of violet, ripe berries and chocolate.
The selection also includes Petit Enira, Enira and Petit Verdot, offering different expressions of the Bessa Valley style and the vineyards of the Thracian Lowlands.
