The ambassador of Japan, His Excellency NARAHIRA Hiroshi, visited Domain Bessa Valley Estate on 30 August 2020.
We had the honour and pleasure of welcoming the ambassador of Japan, His Excellency NARAHIRA Hiroshi, who visited Domain Bessa Valley Estate on 30 August 2020. Mr. Narahira has been appointed ambassador of Japan in Bulgaria since 24 August 2020. The appointment of His Excellency NARAHIRA Hiroshi marks over 110 years of diplomatic relationships between Japan and Bulgaria and His Excellency expressed his will to further develop the cooperation and friendship between our two nations and countries.
His Excellency NARAHIRA Hiroshi was welcomed at the Bessa Valley estate by our General Manager Ivaylo Antonov and his wife Mrs. Violeta Antonova. His Excellency was given the tour of our vineyards and facilities, and was acquainted with our wine production philosophy and traditions.
Of course, it would not have been like us if we did not offer His Excellency the chance to test in our cellar the very best wines our estate has to offer. On the testing table were the best Bessa Valley wines such as Enira Reserva, Enira Grande Cuvée, our very special Syrah, and Enira Rosé Grande Cuvée, amongst others.
We thank His Excellency NARAHIRA Hiroshi for the courtesy and wish him a very pleasant and productive mandate in Bulgaria.
