This wine is built around energy and expression. Crafted using carbonic maceration, it reveals pure fruit, vibrant freshness, and a naturally lifted character, while maintaining precision and balance.

The Craft

The blend of Merlot and Syrah is selected to support this style. The grapes are harvested slightly earlier, preserving natural acidity and favouring tension and aromatic brightness over concentration.

Vinification follows the principles of carbonic maceration. Whole clusters are placed in sealed tanks under an inert atmosphere, allowing fermentation to begin within the berries themselves before the juice is released.

Extraction remains deliberately gentle, resulting in fine, soft tannins and a fluid, supple texture. The wine is defined not by density, but by movement and clarity.

The grapes are harvested by hand with strict selection in the vineyard. Gentle destemming and further sorting take place at the winery, followed by gravity filling of concrete tanks with whole berries. Fermentation and maceration are conducted with close attention to temperature and time, followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, 50% new and 50% one-year-old, to add structure and quiet complexity without overshadowing the varietal character. After blending, the wine is lightly filtered and bottled.

Alcoholic fermentation lasts around 20 days at controlled temperatures of 14–16°C, preserving aromatic freshness. The wine is aged on heavy lees for three months, followed by blending and additional ageing on fine lees for 1–3 months, contributing subtle texture and complexity. The final stages include stabilisation, filtration and bottling. Average annual production: Approximately 4,000 bottles (0.75 L).
