Latest News from Domain Bessa Valley
Bessa Valley Winery continues its operations without any disruption despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic. We introduced new agricultural machinery to increase productivity in the fields, reduce manual labour, and improve the quality of the soil cultivation. Works at the winery are carried out taking the necessary precautions.
Vintage 2019 is turning out to be one of the best for the winery! In terms of potential, it compares to 2015, which is undoubtedly our number one vintage so far. The tasting rates of the individual lots are high and promising a good start with a share of our top wines Sira by Enira, Grand Cuveé by Enira and Reserve considered for an increase. The wines are fruity, with pronounced varietal aromas, well-structured and characterized by softness and homogeneity. We’ve had some excellent results with Petit Verdot, which gives reasons to work with the variety in the direction of a single varietal wine.
We are really looking forward to introducing some fantastic new Bessa Valley wines on the market in 2020. Enira White 2019, Rosé by Enira 2019, Rosé Grande Cuveé 2019, Petite Syrah 2018 and DUO by Enira 2018 are among the wines that will surely love. More details and tasting notes can be found in our newsletter.
