Count Stephan von Neipperg was born in June 1957 in Schwaigern, Germany.
He graduated Business, Economics and Politics in Paris, and later Winery and Oenology in Montpelier.
He is the owner of six wine cellars in Bordeaux: Chateau Canon La Gaffeliere (Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe), La Mondotte (Saint-Emilion), Chateau Clos de l’Oratoire (Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe), Chateau Peyreau (Saint-Emilion Grand Cru), Chateau d’Aiguilhe (Cotes de Castillon), and Clos Marsalette (Pessac-Leognan).
The Neipperg family has been growing vines and making wines for 800 years.
Dr Karl-Heinz Hauptmann was born in August 1960 in Gelnhausen, Germany.
He is the founder of Telor Capital Management – a private equity manager with its seat in Prague, Czech Republic. He was Managing Director of Merrill Lynch in London and Vice-President of the London Bankers Trust International.
Dr Hauptmann is the main shareholder of Bessa Valley Winery.
Marc Dworkin was born in February 1961 in Paris.
He graduated Biochemistry in Paris and Oenology in Bordeaux. He has worked for famous French wineries like Chateau Clarke, Cote Montpezat, Chateau Larmande and Chateau Bellefont-Belcier for seventeen years. Marc Dworkin arrived in Bulgaria in 1999 as a consultant, and has contributed for the renewing of the Bulgarian wines.
Ivailo Antonov was born in February 1970 in Blagoevgrad.
He graduated from the Medical Academy – Sofia, MA in general medicine and South-West University “Neofit Rilski”, MA in Marketing and Advertising. He has worked as Marketing Manager for DIAGEO Bulgaria – owner of the brands Johnnie Walker Red Label, Johnnie Walker Black Label, J&B, Smirnoff, Baileys and many others. He has worked also as Commercial Director of EMMIS Bulgaria.
Currently he is an Executive Director of Bessa Valley.
Ivo Evgeniev is a highly experienced regional investor and entrepreneur who has led successful investments in telecoms, IT services, construction materials, property, hospitality and leisure, paper, food and agriculture.
Ivo Evgeniev holds an MBA from INSEAD and master degrees from the Technical University (Sofia) and the University for National and World Economy (Sofia).
